Rather birds than windmills?
Then end the day in the national park.
The same guided visit of Almagro, but instead of Consuegra the Las Tablas de Daimiel National Park: the wetland where the waters of the Guadiana surface, walked on boardwalks between the bird hides. The water level varies with the season and the year – we tell you what to expect for your date. The boardwalks are flat, but it is a good distance on foot.

The theatre festival in July
In July the Corral de Comedias and the rest of the town become the Festival Internacional de Teatro Clásico, a festival of Golden Age theatre. Seats depend on the programme and on how early you ask.

Is the price per person or per group?
The private day trip costs €799 per group (1–3 people), VAT included. Group tours are also charged per group.
Are the entries included?
On the private trip, yes. Group tours add the Corral de Comedias entry, €6.50 per person at cost – €9 with a performance.
Consuegra or Las Tablas de Daimiel?
You choose: the windmills of Consuegra as a stop on the way, or Las Tablas de Daimiel National Park. Both at the same price.
Isn't it a long drive?
Almagro is just under 200 km from Madrid, 2 hrs 20 to 2 hrs 50 each way depending on traffic. That is why it is a full day, up to 11 hours.
Can children come?
Yes, children are very welcome. We provide a free child seat on request – please tell us the child's weight and height.
Can we have lunch in Almagro?
Yes. One free hour for an aperitif or lunch is planned. On request we book a table in the old town for a lunch of about an hour and a half; you pay for the meal on site.
What is the cancellation policy?
Up to 15 days before: full refund (except non-refundable tickets already bought). 14 days to 48 hours before: 50 % refund. Less than 48 hours before or no-show: no refund.
