We pick you up at 9:30 am at your accommodation in Madrid. By private car, Aranjuez is 40 minutes to just over an hour away depending on traffic – your guide is with you from the start.

02
Royal Palace with your guide
The royal rooms as the court left them, including the two everyone remembers: the Porcelain Room and the Arab Room, modelled on the Alhambra. About one hour; entry is included.

03
Parterre and Jardín de la Isla
From the Parterre in front of the palace we continue to the Jardín de la Isla, laid out in a bend of the Tagus, with its fountains and plane trees.

04
Jardín del Príncipe
A riverside garden big enough to spend a whole afternoon in – we follow one route through it. The paths are flat, but long and gravelled.

05
Free time: aperitif or lunch
One free hour is planned for an aperitif or lunch. On request we book a restaurant serving regional food.

06
Return to Madrid
After about 5 hours we take you back to your accommodation. Add a winery or a longer lunch and it becomes a full day.
