Pickup in Madrid
We pick you up at 9:30 am at your accommodation in Madrid. Your guide is with you from the start.

The windmills of Consuegra
A stop on the ridge above the plain, with the castle behind: Don Quixote's giants. Or choose Las Tablas de Daimiel National Park instead.

The Plaza Mayor
Arcades and glazed, green-framed galleries – the taste of the Fuggers, who ran the mercury of Almadén from here.

The Corral de Comedias
The 17th-century theatre in the courtyard of an inn, with its wooden galleries, benches and stage – preserved as it was built.

Free time: aperitif or lunch
One hour is left free. Try the berenjenas de Almagro; on request we book a table in the old town.

Return to Madrid
In the evening we bring you back to your accommodation – 2 hrs 20 to 2 hrs 50 on the road depending on traffic.

Las Tablas de Daimiel: the water level varies with the season and the year; the boardwalks are flat, but it is a good distance on foot.

Is the price per person or per group?
€799 per group for 1–3 people, VAT included. It includes a private car with driver, your guide and the entries on the agreed itinerary.
Consuegra or Las Tablas de Daimiel?
You choose one of the two, at the same price: the windmills as a stop on the way, or the national park with its boardwalks.
Isn't it a long drive?
Just under 200 km each way, 2 hrs 20 to 2 hrs 50 depending on traffic. That is why we plan a full day, up to 11 hours.
Can we have lunch in Almagro?
Yes. One free hour is planned. If you'd like a longer lunch, we book a table in the old town; you pay for the meal on site.
Can children come?
Yes, children are very welcome. We provide a free child seat on request – please tell us the child's weight and height.
We are more than 3 people – is that possible?
Yes. From 4 people we travel by van (€1,544), minibus (€1,954) or coach (€2,137), each per group incl. VAT. The Corral de Comedias entry is €6.50 per person on top.
What is the cancellation policy?
Up to 15 days before: full refund (except non-refundable tickets already bought). 14 days to 48 hours before: 50 %. Less than 48 hours before or no-show: no refund.
