We'll start this tapas tour at a time close to your usual German lunchtime, but what's served couldn't be more Spanish! In the heart of the Barrio de las Letras, we'll visit two or three authentic tapas bars, where you'll sample typical Spanish specialties and learn what makes a real tapa. Enjoy this culinary journey of discovery at lunchtime, all about Spanish flavors. I'll be happy to give you insider tips for your further culinary explorations in Madrid and ensure this lunchtime becomes an unforgettable Spanish taste experience. At the start of the tour, I'll collect the amount for food and drinks. My recommendation is €30 per person for a selection of delicious Spanish lunchtime tapas and about two or three drinks. We'd be happy to coordinate your orders together, or I'll surprise you with a selection of typical Spanish delicacies, perfect for this "German" lunchtime. Let yourself be inspired by the diversity of Spanish cuisine! We begin our culinary lunch in the charming Plaza de Santa Ana, in the heart of the literary quarter. The meeting point is directly in front of the statue of the writer Calderón de la Barca. From there, we'll take a short walk to select tapas bars and taverns, where you'll get a first taste of the lively atmosphere of this historic district and the incomparable Spanish cuisine.
